Caring For Your Floral Arrangement
  • If your arrangement is in floral foam, add a small amount of water to the top of the foam every 1-2 days, or as often as required. You can also spray the foam with a water spray bottle if preferred.
  • If your arrangement is on moss, spray the moss with a water spray bottle to keep it damp-to- touch, as often as required.
  • If your arrangement is in a container such as a vase, jar or bowl, keep the container topped up with water every 1-2 days or as often as required.
  • Keep flowers out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat sources and draughts.
  • Remove any wilting leaves or flowers as you see them.
  • Take care when topping up water that it does not overflow from the container or tray. We recommend topping up the water in your arrangement in the bathroom or kitchen so that spills can be easily wiped.
  • Keep your arrangement away from fruit bowls. Ripening fruit releases a gas called ethylene. Ethylene gas promotes ripening in fruit but also causes flowers to wilt faster, leading to a shortened vase life.
