Hand-Tied Bouquet Workshop

In our hand-tied bouquet workshops you and your guests will learn how to arrange the perfect bouquet using a spiralling technique, a lovely skill to learn for arranging flowers for friends and at home. You’ll learn how to gift wrap and care for your flowers, before taking them home to enjoy.

Bowl Arrangement Workshop

Ever wondered what it takes to design a stylish floral centrepiece? In our private bowl arrangement workshop, you’ll learn the design principles behind arranging a gorgeous centrepiece arrangement, before taking home your own bowl of beautiful seasonal flowers.

Seasonal Wreath Workshop

Our private wreath workshops are enjoyed by all and are suitable for any season! From sunny spring wreaths full of living bulbs, to fragrant festive wreaths at Christmas, wreaths are the perfect activity to bring your team, clients or friends together.

Flower Meadow Workshop

Nothing brings more enjoyment than a beautiful floral meadow arrangement. Enjoy a private workshop with a calm and creative atmosphere as you learn how to arrange a meadow-style arrangement using the freshest seasonal blooms with your team, friends and guests.

FAQs

Where are private workshops held?

For private events, corporate workshops and brand events, I’m happy to travel to your home, office, workplace, or event venue. All that’s needed for the workshop is a comfortable space for guests to sit or stand, along with a flat surface for them to work on, such as tables, desks, or bar-style benches. Access to a nearby water source is also required (sink, outdoor tap, indoor tap etc).

What is the minimum number of attendees required to book a private workshop?

We request a minimum number of 8 attendees in our private workshops. Although there is no maximum limit, we find our workshops work best for groups between 8 and 20 people. If you are organising an event for a larger group of people, please get in touch and we can discuss bespoke requirements to cater for this.

How far in advance do I need to book a private workshop?

Please get in touch as soon as possible by emailing me at rachel@petalsandpaperie.com or call me on 07884562074. If I have your workshop date available in my studio schedule, I need a minimum of 7 days notice to hold a private workshop. This enables me to organise flowers, materials, logistics and travel to your workshop location.

Can I book a workshop for a private bridal event or hen party?

Yes, absolutely! We can organise floral bridal or hen party workshops for small groups between 8 - 20 guests. Minimum of 8 guests for a private booking. Please get in touch at rachel@petalsandpaperie.com for more information.

Is set-up and clear-down included in the cost of the workshop?

Yes, set-up and clear-down of your workshop is included in the price of your quote. I ask for access to your house, office, or event space for an hour before the event to set up and an hour after the event to clear down.

Do you organise venue hire for a private workshop?

If you are organising a private workshop for a corporate or brand event and require a hired event space, we do not currently provide an event space. If you would like recommendations, we can recommend venues across North Yorkshire that we think would be suitable for your event.

Do you supply food and drink for private workshops?

Petals & Paperie do not typically provide refreshments as part of our private workshops, however catering is available on request. We partner with a selection of caterers who we can liaise with if you would like us to organise refreshments as part of the workshop. Please get in touch to discuss finer details.

Do we need to supply anything else for a private workshop?

No, everything that your guests will need for the private workshop will be provided, including fresh or dry flower materials, tools and packaging. All I need you to provide is a space for guests to sit with a flat surface for them to work on.

Are there any other fees for a private workshop?

Yes, mileage to and from your event location is charged at £0.55 per mile, in addition to the per head cost. Our studio is located in YO51 in North Yorkshire.

My event is outside of North Yorkshire, do you travel?

Yes, we can travel to private workshop locations anywhere across the UK! Please get in touch to discuss your event location and details and we can provide you with a custom quote.
