Fresh Sphagnum Moss Wreath Ring details

Product Description

Excited to make your own wreath this year but not sure where to start, or perhaps you’re short on time? Enter the pre-mossed wire wreath rings.

Available in 4 sizes, our fresh moss wire wreath rings are assembled by hand in our North Yorkshire studio using high-quality fresh Sphagnum moss. Whether you’re creating a wreath for Autumn, Christmas or Spring, all of our mossed wreath rings are hand assembled and neatly trimmed to provide the perfect base for your wreath.

Please note that fresh Sphagnum moss is naturally a damp material, so don’t be alarmed if your wreath base arrives and is damp to touch, this is completely normal. If you are not using the wreath base straight away, take care to periodically spray the moss with water every couple of days to keep the moss damp.

Safety Precautions

Not suitable for human or animal consumption.

Some flowers may be toxic to both pets and people, so please keep them out of reach of children and animals. To prevent damage, protect hard surfaces such as tables, window sills, and kitchen counters, as pollen from certain flowers can cause staining. We recommend placing your vase or arrangement on a protective mat or cloth.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

How do I attach an apple, orange or lemon slice to my Christmas Wreath?

You can attach an apple, lemon or orange slice to your Christmas wreath by wiring them onto the moss base using a stub wire.

Push the stub wire through your fruit slice, (close to the rind of the orange/skin of the apple) until you have an equal length of the wire on each side of the fruit. Then, bring the two ends of the wire together and twist them together to create a ‘double leg mount’. Next, position your fruit slice where you would like it to go on your wreath. Then push the wire ends through your moss base until they come out of the back of your wreath. Then simply fold back the wires and push the ends back into the moss so that the wires are not sticking out.

How can I hang my wreath on my front door without damaging it?

All of our luxury wreaths and DIY wreath kits come with a brown string loop to attach the wreath to your front door.

If you have a door hook or knocker, you can simply secure your wreath to the hook or knocker using the brown string provided. If you don't have a door hook or knocker, you can use an over-the-door wreath hanger or an adhesive 3M Command Hook. Avoid adding additional nails or screws in your front door as this will damage the paint work.
